Haryana Government has issued latest instructions regarding verification of character and antecedents of selected candidates before their first Appointment to Government service- relaxation thereof. As per instructions the Departments frequently seek relaxation in the Govt. Instructions regarding prior verification of character and antecedents of selected candidates from Human Resources Department. The matter has been examined by the Government at length and it has been decided that all candidates recommended by the HSSC & HPSC till 30.09.2024, in respect of appointment to any post, may be appointed on provisional basis in terms of paras IV) and (i) of the instructions dated 23.06.2022, without prior verification of their character, antecedents as well as of all documents deemed necessary for appointment. The verification of character, antecedents and also of all other documents necessary for final appointment shall, be got completed within a period of two months after their provisional appointment and not in three months as specified in para IV(ii) of the ibid instructions.
