Department of School Education Haryana has decided to increase the honorarium of guest teachers working in the state.
As per notification, in view of the provision contained in section 4 of The Haryana Guest Teachers Service Act, 2019′, the Government has decided to increase the monthly honorarium of Guest Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTS) and Guest Primary Teachers (PRTs) (@4% w.e.f. 1 July, 2023 in the same proportion as the Dearness Allowance increased by the Government for regular Govt. Employees vide notification No. 4/3/2016-5FR/24950(1) dated 26th October, 2023.
The payment on account of monthly honorarium involving fractions of 50 paise and above may be rounded to the next higher rupee and the fractions of less than 50 paise may be ignored.
Compliance of the condition of consolidated honorarium mentioned in Section 4 of The Haryana Guest Teachers Service Act, 2019 be ensured that the consolidated honorarium shall not exceed the minimum of the pay-scale (at the lowest grade, in the regular pay scale), extended to corresponding regular teacher of the Department.
