Haryana Government has issued clarification on the Re-Employment of Government Employees. Haryana Government vide Rule-143 of Haryana Civil Services (General) Rules, 2016 and State Government Instructions No. 34/01/2004-4GSI, dated 20.06.2018 & 06.08.2018 directed that the re-employment can only be given in exceptional circumstances after 58 years for a period of maximum two years to a government employee beyond the age of superannuation.
However, many qdepartments are sending the proposals of re-employment beyond 2 years to Human Resources Department.The State Government has taken a serious view in this regard and decided that in future no case of re-employment in service beyond two years be considered.
However, in such cases, if there is requirement of service of any retired employee beyond two years, only contractual engagement may be considered as per policy/guidelines, with the prior approval of Human Resources Department (in Human Resources-III Branch).
