According to instructions issued by Haryana Government, attention are invited to Note I of Rule-3 of the Haryana Civil Services (Compassionate Financial Assistance or Appointment) Ruies, 2019 notified vide notification G.S.R dated 2nd August, 2019, wherein it is mentioned that “The family of deceased Government employee who died before the date of notification of these rules but have not been sanctioned the compassionate financial assistance by the competent authority due to one reason or the other, they mnay exercise an option within a period of six months from the date of notification either to avail the benefit under the Haryana Compassionate Assistance to the Departments of Deceased Government Employees Rules, 2006 or these rules. Option once exercised shall be final”.
Now, It has been observed by the Government that many departmnents/boards/corporations, etc., are not complying with Note 1 of Rule 3 of the Haryana Civil Services (Compassionate Financial Assistance or Appointment) Rules, 2019, especially in pending cases where the family of the deceased Government employee has not received compassionate financial assistance. Therefore, all the Administrative Secretaries are requested to direct the departments/boards/corporations, etc., under their control to strictly adhere to Note 1 of Rule 3 of the Haryana Civil Services (Compassionate Financial Assistance or Appointment) Rules, 2019, specially for deciding pending Ex-gratia cases.
