Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance has issued latest notification regarding revision of interest rates on small savings schemes like Term Deposit(Fixed Deposit FD), Recurring Deposit(RD), Saving Account, National Saving Scheme(NSC), Senior Citizen Saving Scheme, Sukanya Samridhi Account, Public ProvidentFund(PPF), Monthly Income Saving Account(MIS), Kisan Vikas Patra. The rates of interest on various Small Savings Schemes for the second quarter of financial year 2023-24 starting from 1s July, 2023 and ending on 30h September, 2023 have been revised as detailed below.
